Question Which file-sharing program do you recommend? (nothing illegal involved)

Which file sharing program do you like most? Which one is good and with few busy signals??

DIRECT CONNECT has requirements way to high.. can't connect without 50+ gigs for most servers. my HD is only 20gig.

KAZAA has good speed and very little busy signals but search results aren't very satisfying. Besides its spyware, I get popups every 5mins. gets irratating after a while.

EDONKEY has way to many busy signals. Lotsa good results but takes forever to wait for my turn.

LIMEWARE has this weird countdown waiting that makes you wait forever before you can even begin downloading. I have no sucess with this one.

What about you? Are you using a good file-sharing program that is not listed here? if so please reply with name of the program.
I'm currently using Kazaa btw.
Thank you

Try the successor to edonkey, its alot better. You don't need to connect to a server, it works kind of like Kazaa but better for big files.

Its called Overnet

Vote #2 for WinMX, too bad it doesn't have a native Linux version though (but there's always WINE to the rescue!! ).

kazaa lite as my number one option, and winmx as my number two. winmx goes slow for me for some reason.

I've NEVER been able to get anything out of WinMX. It has a horrible GUI and most of what I want isn't really there. Maybe it's on the OpenNap networks?
