Mhh... I got similar problems when both, the MS msg and my Iomega Zip are working together, I just disconnect my Zip and everything runs normal. I've got the latest Zip drivers installed. maybe MS and Iomega devices refuses to work together

Just terminate the unnecessary processes if you don't want them. You don't need rundll32.exe for Windows to function.

rundll32.... Doesn't that have something to do with running 32 bit DLL's or something? I know when I used to use Windows 98 and ME there was always at least 1 rundll32 running.

I think it was a required process for Windows 9x but it isn't required for Windows 2K/XP to function. I always shut it down along with other unnecessary processes. I think you need it to run certain programs but it'll call it when it needs it.

Ah. Those damn Antivirus programs. I never find any use for them unless I suspect I may have gotten a virus. Only then will I install one and check for a virus or two.

You mean the zip?
the external device that allows you to use removable media as the zip disk that has a 100MB capacity, my sister needs it because she handles 50-70MB TIFF files.

Can a Zip drive replace a Floppy drive and become A:\? I know they can be used as boot disks.
