Go to the site lazywanker said, and get DVD decrypter, and Flask MPEG6. Just make sure you get all the plugins for it, so it can read subtitles, and encode to WMV (Which is actualy a really good format)

personally i perfer using nandub, but you can make your own choice, just check out http://www.doom9.org for all sorts of info / tools for encoding dvd into divx mpeg4 streams.
