When I was using Windows98, Daemon Tools (version 3.20, if I'm not mistaken) ran just fine. But after migrating to WinXP Pro, it just wouldn't run. I tried re-installing, but I got the Blue Screen of Death (tm), saying about a STOP error and IRQ_LESS_NOT_EQUAL or something similar. I suspect that the problem is with the virtual CD-ROM drive driver, but I'm not sure. I don't understand it since the version supposedly supports WinXP.
Anyone know the solution? ~sithspawn

I think the problem is when you upgrade from Win98 to XP, your virtual CDROM drive registry get corrupted and so XP cannot read your drive. You should uninstall Daemon tool, upgarde to XP, then reinstall Daemon tool. This way Daemon tool will be fully functional under WinXP.

Thanks for the tip
![]() I hacked into my registry and remove any traces of Daemon Tools and the virtual SCSI driver then re-install Daemon Tools and... voila! Works like a charm ![]() Once again, thank u!
