brightness control for movies

hi,
is there any program with the help of which i can control the brightness of the movies.there is an option in tnt2 drivers but for other cards what should i do.i need a program which can control brightness of video files.does anybody know one?

Just 2 i know best one is download the latest driver of detonator xp 28.32 (i guess) or download powervcd or dvd.

is there brightness control function in powervcd?there is one in power dvd?but powerdvd is not strong enough to run scratchy cds.any more ideas
