Download Monitor

Does annyone know of a good download monitor that keeps track of download and upload transfers? It would also have to record the data in file so that it can be kept for referance?

I personally like getright.
Gozilla is also considered good by some people.
Mass downloader has one really cool feature of browsing zip files.

The choice depends on you.

I like GetRight too, but does I don't think it manages uploads, does it? Maybe if you're using the ftp...

nah i meant one that shows your bandwidth and records how much you download. Not what you download. I use Download Accelerator Plus 5 for my downloads and stuff. But thats not what i meant.

I think I had a proggy named Download Boost 2002 Gold, and it had all the features you were requiring.

Nah i tried that. Still cant find what i need. I need one that records your transfer rates and allows you to save them to file for later referance. I need it so i can monitor how much i download so that i dont go over my allocated amount of downloads per week.

I dont need a program that helps me download files and stuff, it needs to show how much my total downloads are per day, week or month.

DAP 5 shows your download rate, review the ranking of that download auto virus checking and you can view what url you are downloading from...

and also all your downloads from the start

download accelerator

No you still dont get what i mean. Its not about downloading files and stuff. What it should do is record how much i download and upload all together. Not each specific file but everything that has been transfered in the time that i am online. I need it to record all the bandwidth/transfered data for an amount of time.

In that case, what you need is a pencil and paper. And you in front of your monitor, of course.
