Can't use Smart Restore!
I have a Packard Bell PC and it comes with something called Smart Restore. This should return your PC to the way it was when you got it. Problem is, it says Not a Valid Computer.
Does anyone know how to get this to work? because I don't have a windows disk so I can't format. |

Have you upgraded anything since you bought it? It may be running a hardware check.

Yep. Some system restore disks check the hardware to prevent you using the disk in other machine. Windows XP also has a feature similar to this.
