I think it's just been released. I'm downloading it now. I'll post here later about what I think of it.

Ok, I've just installed "Morpheus Preview Edition", and it's working. I uninstalled the old Morpheus before installing this one, and all I can say is: I didn't like it.

It has a completely new look, and it also searches in the gnutella network, but still I didn't like it. It's constantly using my modem connection(I can see at the bottom of the screen that it's using around 1kb/s download and 1kb/s upload without transfering any file). It's making my connection slow, and also I didn't like the new search method. There is no filters like before(audio, video, etc). IMHO, it sucks. I hope the next release(not a preview one) is a lot better.

that 1st screenshot reminds of napster.....
is the download speed good??

also... since morpheus was down....
i tried audiogalaxy....
pretty good......
has lots of mp3's and its fast!

Morpheus has turned into just another Gnutella servent. A pretty poor one at that. Shame, really.

bleh... that new morpheus looks like garbage. thanks to you guys, i'm not gonna bother downloading it.

The developers seem to have taken out the option of specifying the type of file you want to download. (Eg. MP3, AVI, EXE)

It seems that Morpheus is turning out to be another Napster.

I guess Winmx is the only choice left.
