Give 'em time. I don't think many people even know about Beta 3 yet.

IMHO, for a beta version this winamp3 beta is quite usable. so usable I uninstalled winamp2 already (though I keep the setup app and all the skins in a folder)

I like the crossfade feature in Winamp3. But since it's beta, I'm not using Winamp3 until an official final release, gets released. But for the short time I tried it out, I was impressed.

But in Beta 3 you cannot plugins yet, and the WinAmp3 crashes often so I too will be waiting for Official release.

I'm still using the latest official winamp(2.78c). In their site, they mention that Beta versions are for people who wants to develop plugins, skins, etc. I'll wait for the official release.

Winamp 2.78 is definitely more stable and all-around "better," but Beta 3 is pretty darn stable - hasn't crashed on me once. The main reason I use Beta 3 is that the skins are WAY better - it may seem superficial, I know, but DAMN these things are fine-lookin'. You just can't get the same effect on WA2, because the coding language is so much more powerful and versatile in WA3.

Winamp3 beta3 is good for me. The transparent effect of the GUI is very cool, as the new skins are. It would be great when they release plugins for this new version.
