So, he's asking if it's possible to make some "stand alone" version of a game? Yes, it's possible.

Although, I wouldn't recommend doing so to play a game from a flashdrive. Since it would shorten its lifespan rather quickly.

Little Portable HDDs work best I find, but flash drives are cheap enough these days where he wouldn't be spending more than the cost of a 2-4GB drive for every 3-4 years of damaging use. Hell, if you go to college people practically leave them in the computer lab and never claim them. I have many flash drives that were strangely lacking a case and were all 1GB, so I took a hot glue gun and molded my own very stable and secure case
