Best Media Center?

I looking a good media center to manage thousands of musics,pictures,and videos.I am stuck with the Media Center by Microsoft Are there alternatives?

I wholeheartedly recommend MythTV, and any Linux distribution that makes MythTV usage easier (Mythbuntu, MythDora etc). If you HAVE to be on Windows (and you really don't if the issue is drivers), the next best thing is MediaPortal.

There are alternatives to Windows Media Centre, but I honestly found windows media center the best. Everything else is too high maintenance.

wmc's ok, but it's a shame its extenders generally lack support for most common video codecs.... so, it's only good when running on pc's, and even then it has a few annoying bugs... while I haven't tried it myself, I heard really good things about xmbc, that nanaya suggested.
