I went through and reconfigured each service to run with the -local flag, but didn't clear the directories. I'm supposing that the next time they look for work, anything that was broken by the lack of the -local flag will be fixed.

That said, when I went into a few log files (randomly), I noticed they all said they were starting work from within their own respective directories.

Holy...

Man, I really under estimated the speed at which we're moving here.

At some point, though our numbers will "stagnate" and we won't be moving up as swiftly.

We'll still be close to the top though. My guess, we'll level off around the top 2000.

I'd say we'll level off somewhere around the top 500. With the current number of contributors, it'll begin to take like a week just to move up one spot at that point.

Actually, it may be a nice idea to have it made frontpage news, I'll check up with Chrono about this. I wouldn't mind making a post about it also to get to know how to put info up there. Thanks for the idea

hm, well, some way to boost interest would be nice.
For one, I think it doesn't gain as much attention as it could because it's in the software forum.

Hmm, putting a password on my account indeed did the trick. Thanks for the suggestion, using all 4 cores now as well, it'll take a bit of time though.

Ok, I'm back to my main PC and I'm now running SMP client of F@H because GPU seems not to work for me.

Sick.

I'm out of the loop, but what GPUs are you putting in? Maybe until then you should make sure your system is up to snuff in terms of stability (if you haven't already)

Looks like my worries about rankings were misplaced as we're quite a bit up now.

How about we force every new member to do one session of folding each lol

Whats the occasion for the upgrades?

Maybe a front page bit or even a PM to all members might help

well rather not an upgrade, rather a whole new system

Im building a system for a rather well known member here (I won 't say who, as he is rather notorious) And Im going to put his GTX285 to good use by folding

I already have the 8800, (im waiting for the next gen GTX300 before I swap that out, upgrading a Water cooled system is a pain in the ***. Takes 2 hours to swap something out)
