Indeed. That makes sense, as probably not many games/apps/emus are used to having to need to request exclusive access for GPU resources, as GPU computing still really hasn't reached mainstream.

As for the differences between XP and Vista, I'm surprised, as I would have thought Vista would have better resource management for such cutting edge stuff.

Hmmm, -advmethods...where do I enable that?

Just create a shortcut and add the -advmethods commandline switch. If you have FAH set to start when windows starts, just modify the shortcut in your "Startup" folder on your Start Menu.

Note: I *think* this works on both the GPU console and GPU viewer versions.

Why this team? Came across this forum in search of information on my No$GMB acting kinda goofy. I found a lot of useful info but never discovered something new, that was worth posting. So I never singed up.

Very nice. I'm so out of the loop that I don't even know what 9800GTX is but it sounds like a top of the line card to me ! We should have no problem hitting the top 2000s soon :-)
