Not really, this list is actually shorter then what it was... i've had to remove a few extensions that break 3.0, plus some that already exist as functions in 3.0.

I'm surprised so few use NoScript. Is there some other add-on that does the same thing?

Most of what I use has been mentioned already, however a few useful ones that haven't been are:

Multiple tab handler: Gives you multiple options for managing tabs, useful for people like me who have 15+ tabs open at once Closing multiple tabs, moving a group of tabs to a new window with two clicks, etc.

Hash Colored tabs: This one is more for aesthetic purposes but in tandem with multiple tab handler it's useful. For those sites that don't have their own little site icon for the tab to put on (like the vbulletin icon for ngemu), it generates a little random-colored square for that site to use. Useful for knowing which tabs are from the same site/server when you have many open. Then you can rearrange them and easily perform some operation on them with multiple tab handler.

pdf download: More useful for people who use firefox on linux, it permits you to select different options when handling a pdf (instead of opening directly in the browser, you can choose to let an external viewer handle it or just download it)

speed dial: similar to the home page in opera, it shows you astart page with a little image mosaic of different sites you frequent, so you can simply click on the one you are interested at the moment.

Rikaichan: For the people who study japanese/browse japanese sites, this plugin provides popup hints on japanese words. Meaning if you find a kanji/ a kanji word it will popup with information about the kanji, or the word it forms, pronuntiation and various information.

I don't think so.

But yeah, not a lot of people use it. Probably because every time you encounter a website that needs a script to view (java, flash, etc) you have to click "allow scripts from http://www.xxxxxx.com"

But I don't mind. Makes me feel safe

The most important in that list would most probably be.
All-in-one sidebar, smoothwheel, MR Teck toolkit (I strongly recommend everyone take a look at this one...especially if there is a suposedly incompatible extension you may want to use or you hate an update of FF rendering half your extensions unusable), flashblock, extended statusbar, Adblock Plus, Tab Mix Plus and the number one extension which made FF equal Avant on features, Image Toolbar.

Yes I realize I may have some extensions which double up, but it's simply not worth the effort it's going to take to find out which ones perform the same tasks to actually go about doing that.
I do however welcome any pointers over which extensions might be fullfilling the same purpose.

I can't stand NoScript...so it's disabled...if it would prompt me whilst loading a page whether I want to allow the page full access or not and then some more restricted options it might be usefull...but as it is it's more of a pain than any browser bomb will ever be.
Also RemoveCookies for Site has been made compatible by Mr Tech Toolkit again, I have just not restarted my browser since so it's still disabled.
