what is the best software to overclock my pc? and the other utilities?

Clockgen is a popular one.

Of course, the BIOS is the most effective, but Clockgen will allow you to see what is most stable for your PC BEFORE you overclock in the BIOS.

i did OC my cpu via bios and set up the higher possible voltage but nothing happen~

i look for the newly change cpu power using cpu-id but i still got the same frequency~

p/s my motherboard is gigabyte

i've try clockgen on my vista ulitmate 64bit but i got no respone from it! it says unable tu initialise blah..blah..blah!

so how can i configure it?

Did you select the correct PLL type?

It is in PLL selection.

I know it can be found by opening up the PC, but I forgot where it's supposed to be...

You can also find it by searching your chipset. Use a little app called cpuz for that.

i think my system is locking me form overclocking..each time i tweak the bios it always set it to the default setting..well i did save when exiting..someone have info for this?? good method is welcome XD
