This is your chance to let the authors of Project64 know what you want in the next release. There are already quite a few new features that are considered for Project64 1.7 and some of them will most likely make it in the release. Those include :
  • High texture replacement
  • Net play
  • Quick switching mempacks
  • Configuring short cut keys
  • 7zip support
  • Cheat Creation tools
  • Transfer pak for pokemon stadium
  • Save selected plugin per game
  • Backup instant saves
  • Better widescreen support
If there is something that is not on the list and that you would like to see in the next release, be sure to mention it in this thread*over at Emutalk.

Isn't that the same thing as saying "Controller support? I think that's not possible"?

High texture replacement and rar would be great. Rar more so since it's sounds like it should be easy, but also to save hard drive space! wooo

RAR would be ok except...

RAR is a closed, proprietary format while 7-zip is free and open source (not to mention being better all around). Personally I wish people would stop using RAR, it needs to die.

7z is much better compression (especially with combined ROMs). You should try it, Aided Onslaught.

AFAIR there is an open documentation for the RAR file format, at least for decompression.

A new graphics source like hi-poly and texture smoother would be great.

PJ64 is not a GameCube emulator and never will. If the authors decide to make a GC emu (which i doubt...) they'll do it under another name
