New version up. I have fixed many problems with wip3, but there's some things still not working properly.

Dual layer detection does NOT work on my vista machine, but it should work for anyone using XP.

Disc change is still somewhat broken, at least when starting the emu with an empty/open tray. It will detect he new disc, but it will go back to bios instead of loading the game.

My weblog... not like if there was too much to read on it tho.
For anyone interested, there's a mirc script which converts "/me 's" into " * nickname's whatever" and adds a nice "/my" command.

Talking

"Starting with an empty drive, and then closing the tray in the bios does NOT work for me."

It works fine here, just putted the disc on the open tray, run emu, loaded bios, closed the tray, waited a few secs, the PS2 logo appeared, the game booted fine.

And other good news, Shadow of the Colossus doesnt crash anymore! Great work.

BTW im using WinXP, and GiGaHeRz is using Vista, so if anyone else with Vista wanna try his plugin and report, would be nice.

Yeah, disc change works under Vista as well. Thanks for that, giga.
I always feared that one game that requires disc changing, and no
plugin would handle it

This plugin is meant to play games WITH a disc in the drive. It CANNOT do magic!

If you made a .iso of your game, and want to use the .iso instead of the real game, use cdvdiso or cdvdlinuz.

it means when you put the game in your dvd drive, it will automatically discover it and tell them emu a disc has been inserted.

If we ban you, we ban you for a reason, not so you can just make a new account.

Enjoy your IP ban.

Looks like it might be your DVD drive giga?
Rama2 have you done the same way as i? Started the emu with no disc, then insert it with the emu running?

Nope, i used xenosaga2 isos.
Mounted disc2, selected new game, game tells me to insert disc1.
Unmounted disc2 and mounted disc1 while emu was running, and
the game dectected it, and started playing disc1.
So all in all, its working even under Vista

With an actual dvd media game.

Nope, using an iso plugin will be better.Audio errors are either due to bugs in the audio plugins or bad fps

Comparing the normal versions, zerospu2 takes less cpu time, but the playground version of spu2ghz has been specially optimized for better speeds, so the difference is negligible.

ugh!

So, my D drive does not work and never has and i've always used an external device, E drive, but this CDVD plugin does not detect other than D drive, and i tried reinstalling P.E.Op.S. because i had accidently deleted it, but when i placed it in the plugins area it would not show up in the config no matter what i did even though i tried this with other plug ins and it worked. someone help me please?

alright so i got the P.E.Op.S. but it too does not work with E drive! Someone help me please
