It can't even open the device? >_<

This is so weird... are you able to use peops cdvd in IoCtl modes?

yes "W2K/XP- IOCTL scsi commands" works fine.

when i run the bios without a inserted DVD i get this in the console

afx420: can you try if r2 works better for you?

NexXxus: well it looks like yours DOES open the device so it must be a different problem in your case :/

ok it boots now, but if i eject the disc it doesn't notice. in the output screen it jusr repeats

yes, works here too now, but very slow when using original dvd, daemon tools is faster.
fps falling to 3fps while reading and going up to 50 when its done, playing videos is a mess, but no problems when i use daemon tools.

That's one of the things I have in my "TODO" list: Making reads faster. I will start with it when I get home later, I have been considering some ideas...

0.4r2 works now with action replay max. Swapped discs are still recognized as 'illegal' though. Other games do work fine

Glad to know.

i actually cant repeat this error now so it might have bean a fluke. if i start the emu with no disc in it boots to bios, then i can insert the disc and it loads, if i eject the disc it just hangs like it didn't notice i removed it. it doesn't crash it just sits there. if i reinsert the disc it reboots.
