PEOPS Cdvd

I downloaded the plugin, put it in the plugin folder, and I changed the plugin directory to where it is. But it won't show up as an option in the drop down menu, can anyone please help me?

why not use the one that came with the emulator?

The ones that came with the emulator is the NullCdvd, and the one that compresses the iso, do either of them actually run the game?

not if it's on a disc

you need PEOPS Cdvd (which even if you find it in config may never work)

OR EPP cd driver found in the archive

EDIT: Yeah, you're right, it came with the emulator, but I can't select it.

you also need

MS VC DLL's
The newer Peops seems to need Visual Studio DLL files, so if you are getting an error in your console window for SOME plugins saying "pluginname.dll : 126"

Well, when I downloaded that the PEOPS sound thing shows up, but the CDVD still doesn't. I downloaded the emulator from the official site. And my specs are:

Operating System: Windows XP Professional (5.1, Build 2600) Service Pack 2 Processor: AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 3700+, MMX, 3DNow, ~2.2GHz Memory: 2046MB RAM
Video Card: NVIDIA Geforce 7100.

Wow. Your GPU almost certainly won't run any PS2 game anyway. But I wish you the best of luck.

this brings up a good point the PEOPS CDVD plugin never worked for me in any version of pcsx2, it just crashes the emulator. Does anyone else have this problem?

the PEOPS CDVD plugin shares some of the same issues as the PEOPS CDR plugin, including an issue with non adaptec ASPI's and a bug which prevents Drives from being detected when switched to IOCTL.

You are best off creating an image of the Disk in question and using one of the Image-Read plugins.

I don't know if it can help you, but you might want to try the just-released v0.1 of my cdvd plugin. Despite being only a few days old, it might work for you.
