Every time i try to load this, it says memory allocation error and forces me to load the other pcsx2. I've tried to look for a thread to fix this problem, http://forums.ngemu.com/pcsx2-offici...ml#post1205380 there was a link on there some 1 said to go to, but when i try to go there it says i don't have permission. |

oh, yeah tried it out works fine. guess i'll just stick to the TLB version.. there's no diffrence between this and the other right? my computer is medicore gaming e6300 @stock 1.83ghz dual core 2 gig pc 667mhz ram @stock 320gb hd 160 free ati HD3850 256MB @stock ran marvel vs capcom 2 i got 38fps on avg. i'm just wondering why i have such bad frame rates, i mean is it not optmized or somtin? b/c i know there are games for pc that are for ps2 like resident evil 4, and gta, nfs. and i'm pretty sure i'll get tremendous frame rates there, but not for the pcsx2 why? i mean i play bioshock, call of duty 4, and those games are 4 xbox360 which has way better graphics than ps2, and my pc is pretty top of the line and can't even run an old game. ffx i get 36-40 as well.. |

The TLB is basically a more stable way to emulate it uses the memory different than the normal build, normally the VM build is 1-2fps faster but leads to many problems, there are many posts on the memory allocation issue but seriously is just better to use the TLB build ![]() all those games you mentioned are PC games made for PC running on PC, PCSX2 is emulating the actual hardware of a console (basically translating they way hardware would do thinks into something ur PC can understand all of this on the fly) which requires a big ammount of processing power and can proly never be perfected right now what's bottlenecking you is your processor as it's what PCSX2 uses the most, if u can check into overclocking it, normally people get acceptable speeds on a intel c2d at 2.4Ghz+ having the speed most games require for full speed 3.0GHz+ is recommended, prolly on later development of the plugin you'll see faster speed but not right now :P btw u posted in the wrong section, post over the PCSX2 Official Forum Entry and check this thread so u understand why is PCSX2 slow better: http://forums.ngemu.com/pcsx2-offici...csx2-slow.html

vm build is alot faster than tlb build, probably 20percent faster on average. its more compatible with ff12 tekken5 and dragonquest8. theres only one reason i can think of to use tlb build and that is if your os is windows xp home. |
