Mmm... so i have to wait till the scene is over...
Thanks, it's good to know i'm not the only one who had that problem.
And I need a better PC XD.
Once again, thanks to the people who made this, you've made my day.

Neo, the crackling can be fixed by changing the nullAICA buffer size. Try making it higher first, if it seems to get worse, that means you should lower it.

Have you tried re-installing nullDC? Is it Shenmue or a certain game that gives you the problem?

Also, post your system specs.

i tried all buffer configs but the issue stays there... I get the best result with the 2048 but still in very cowded places in Shenmue 2 the sound in any case keeps slowing down and crackling a bit... but again, that'd be only maybe 5 % of the game...in the rest the sound is perfect...

Oh, okay. Nothing you can do about that then (I get it, too sometimes)

And about Insanezer's problem, can you actually PLAY Shenmue?

And to vixa's problem: Have you tried pressing a button first when infront of the crate? (such the A button)

Finished Shenmue 1&2 recently. One runs allways at good speed. There are only the known graphical problems, whith the walls and character being transparent sometimes.

Part Two runs also good, except for certain points in the game, like for example the final battle against this fat guy at the end of disc 3 it sometimes drops to ~40Mhz and the framerate slows down dramatically, but u can still finish the boss. Seems like Part two runs only at very low resolution, no matter what resolution I selected in the nulldc menue, I could allways see the pixels, while in part one you could use all your monitor had, for a very clear and sharp image.
My hardware:

Centrino Duo T 7100 @ 1.8 Ghz
2048 MB RAM
Geforce 8600 M
Vista

Both games are a lot of fun. But I think on the original Dreamcast hardware they play much better. I wish I had one. And also try at least to get a good gamepad for Shenmue. I played it whith keybord, and its ****ing hard sometimes to get the quicktime events working.

Great games! Now I hope that Part III will come out sometime.

Yeah gosh tell me about it... the QTE are a torture with the keyboeard and yes, that final battle, I had the same issue... I think it's the same for everybody...But it's still very playable...

Overall, there's no doubt that it plays better on the Console, but we must be thankful for how great this emulator is and how close you can get with it to the experience on the console... It's still just an Emu but it doesn an amazing job...

Of course I'm thankfull. Its really a great and easy to handle emulator.
I just wanted to give a little feedback on the games performance, for those, who haven't played them yet.

And to vixa's problem: Have you tried pressing a button first when infront of the crate? (such the A button)I did but it seems there is a bug as the game indicates an arrow, not the a button. ANd Ryo cannot push that bloody crate.

DId anyone had the same problem (the game do bug sometimes when looking at a map, it is then impossible to use "b")?

Wait a minute... you dont need to press any action button like A or B when in front of the crate... you have to press UP (or left, dont remember now).

You have to move the analog or press the digital pad in the direction you want to move the crate.

Thanks
I got into the warehouse at the front entrance.
This one guy, Goro, you have to fight at the beginning of disk 2, draws the attention of the guards on himself and you can sneak in. I dont exactly remember, how I did it. So try to find the guy and talk to him.

blocked again

Thanks for your help.

It mysteriously worked with the Chankast plugin. After holding the up arrow for 10 seconds, Ryo pushed that crate.

However, I am now blocked at the middle of cd2, I can t pick up the box, in which is hidden the key who opens the swordbox in the dojo.
WHen I zoom on the object and open the drawler, I can t use "A" or "B".

This bug appears also when I stara at some maps in Dobuita or Yamanose.

Try it with the ChankaPVR plugin, like you did before.
