Maybe I'm just stupid

Don't ask me why I did it but, I decided I wanted to install vista 64 a few days ago and yeah, you can come shoot me if you know where I live but anyhow.

For some strange reason. When I was using Multi-Threading, my fps was a lot slower than when I was using single-threading. I'm talking like 25-40fps in single-thread vs 10-20 in MTGS or MTGS+DC. So I humbly post here, and ask for your suggestion and possibly solutions to solve the issue simply cause I'm too stupid and lazy to want to reinstall XP and reinstall all the softwares again. Onegai?

CPU: AMD 64x2 4400
Memory: 3gigs
Video Card: N6800GT/256MBDDR3
OS:Vista 64 Ult.
PCSX Versions: 0.9.4 or 0.9.5 SVN 239
Plugins: ZeroGS 0.9.7.1, PEOPS 1.9 Audio, LillyPad 0.8.4, PEOPS CD/DVD 1.3
CPU Mode: MT-All options on or no DC mode, Limit to 60FPS
ST-MTGS off, Limit to 60 FPS

messed with some settings and now apparently ST and MT run at the same speed o_O; vista is trying to use both cpus on pcsx2 when i tell it to run in single thread mode, on top of it, it never uses 100% of my CPU power in any mode i use, and i have no idea what the hell is going on.

The reason why it never uses 100% of your CPU power is probably because of your video card, your CPU is most likely limited by your 6800GT.

"PCSX2 doesn't work on my Athlon XP (or other non SSE2 chips)

Due to the nature of the VM (pcsx2.exe), which heavily uses SSE2, this version of the emulator will NOT work for you, however the TLB (pcsx2t.exe) build should work for you. Note when using a non SSE2 cpu to run PCSX2, make sure you select the non SSE2 versions of the plugins."

?? Im not sure about if ur cpu is non SSE2.

xp works fine to start with, it's vista 64 that's pissing me off. its prolly just my video card or nvidia's x64 driver is crap. i'm dual booting now so it's all good. just really wish that i don't get grey screens with KH2 in xp though lol, cause you don't get that in vista 64. still waiting for the new stuff to come out this year =_=; I've had this rig for a long long time.....
