First download latest GSDX - ur comp is not hell of a machine but it should run disgaea quite well. Set the plugin just like in the attachement. In config->cpu set MTGS and DC on. For sound both ZeroSPU2 and PEOPS runs equal well. Also ripping game to iso might help a little.

Note: if it's still too slow uncheck completely 'texture filtering' in GSDX config window.

Everything u need is in the link in my previous post <click on the orange word:P>. Download GSDX, unpack it with winrar <or whatever u have>, copy DLL fie to PCSX2/plugins directory <use normal version not ssse3 one>. Also download additional DLLs, unpack them and copy them to PCSX2 main directory.

Heh, I'm not a PC oracle. I've promised myself long ago not too say much about PC parts here, 'cause it was always a spark for a flame war in the forums:P Nah, whatever check other threads for it, but:
  • any core 2 duo / quad / pentium dual core <not pentium d> after overclocking to 2.8-3.0GHz should run most of the games at full/enjoyable speeds.
  • any geforce 7900+/8600+ and radeon X1950+/29xx/38xx or higher shouldn't be a bottleneck in most of properly running games.
  • mobo: cheap Asus P5N-E SLI, Asus P5K <though to overclock with cheap RAMs P5N-E SLI will be better - unlinked mode>
Choose the setup which suit ur budget best. Also there r tons of topic like this on the forums, so check them for better answer.

you could just upgrade ur cpu to a like Athlon64 x2 4600+ or 5000+ or overclock yours a little, u NEED to upgrade that graphics card if u want enjoyable framerates, a 7600GT/8600GT Geforce series of cards or better works for most games (8600gt and up should be better since u use Vista), but for disgaea u dont need much power :P

I'm not sure about Disgaea 1 but Disgaea 2 requires you to set interlace mode to at least weave tff to get rid of the jumping screen.
