I Have Naruto: Ultimate Ninja 1 (Multi Language Edition), I Didn't play it for long on Pcsx2, But I Did try the Level 3 Attack of Naruto & Didn't have a Crash.....
Try The TLB Version, mess around with the settings & Try Again..

I Was using Pcsx2 Beta, Gsdx 0.1.7, Native resolution, No Texture Filtering (To Prevent Tiny Black Lines), Basically all the Options were not Ticked !

how would he know if your card is affecting your performance, not like he owns the card or coded the drivers for it (or then maybe he did? Oo) :P

I blame it on the drivers, you should try other drivers and see if the same happens

GSdx says 99% on the CPU thing , thats why I say it's the card :P.And it's me who says it, not him lol.

I'm just curious. For most games, I know there's little difference (or none at all), but theoretically, there's gotta be a game out there that has some improvement in SSSE3, right?

"Digital Devil Saga" has the same issue with flickering as "Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne" since GSdx 0.1.5 (0.1.4 and older were fine), this one gs dump actually replays back :P

also notice the screenshot was made half height... i was using 1280x1280 at the time

BTW, Gran Turismo 4 517.19 crashs just a second before the race begins (arcade mode, brightness = 0). It works with ZeroGS but the framarate is terrible.
