Thanks Firnis. I'm going to try this out on Rumble Roses which already runs fine for me at 10-15 fps on 4096x4096.

Yep, but setting internal res at such a low point lets u tell exactly what is a bottleneck in ur rig. Heh, thanks to gabest's GSDX I'm no longer bottlenecked by my GPU <at least in RE 4:P>. I'll look for the highest possible internal res for RE4 which doesn't slow me down:P

We have gabest to thank for bringing GPU requirements down to minimum levels. It's just CPU that is bottleneck handling the PCSX2 code as usual if speed is slow despite using say 512x512 internal res unless you have a very fast CPU pared with a really slow graphics card but I doubt it. It still amazes me when seeing RE4 that is quite GPU demanding (well it was before GSdx9 updates appeared ) running just beautifully at 1024x1024 (or higher) and look like ZeroGS with AA4x+ but that runs noticable slower. Not to meantion the WWE Smackdowns vs Raw games either which was impossible to turn on any filters in ZeroGS without getting slowdowns...

I didn't think we'd ever see such improvement but he does the unexpectable to become a reality.

NexXxus vs200x express is crap, it doesnt have masm and doesnt have mfc.
i think it can compile asm file, you just need newer masm, dunno if that one in vs2005 supports ssse3

grandia 2 has got "rubix cubing" in the FMV and grey polygons on the ground in battle mode gameplay. Other than that looks and plays mostly well.

as always svn 239, gsdx 1.7 DX10 hardware

It have MFC =,=
There guide on how to setup vs for masm

VS don't read all the library, you need to "add" the library for it to link and so on...
