Super Mario Galaxy the number one reason behind insanity and hair loss.

Well I've been playing Super Mario Galaxy with my parents on the Nintendo Wii. Well my superior Mario skills got them:

119 stars and nearly all of the purple coin challenges completed.

Well nearly all except the last one which is harder than hell to complete:

Yeah the hardest purple coin challenge, Luigi's purple coin challenge at Toy Time Galaxy.

I can't for anything complete this and get 100 purple coins since the floor disappears and the yellow floor moves and sends you plummeting. Then you have to worry about falling into the tar I believe where you can die instantly as well.

Then theres purple coins in hanging off a couple ledges with no floor underneath that are impossible to get without dying. Once the floor disappears there is no going back without dying.

How the eff am I supposed to complete this without dying, is there some kind of certain path I am supposed to take or what?

Also I wish they gave you more freedom with the camera instead of restricting it to only one/two views. Sometimes you are completely unable to control the camera in some levels. This is the leading cause of multiple deaths in Mario Galaxy, Sunshine and Mario 64. However Sunshine and 64 gave you more freedom with the camera.

Apparently my superior Mario skills aren't going to save me here.

Aggggh, this is driving me nuts!

:Edit: Well I managed to do it after 50 billion tries, a lot of hair pulling, some prozac and risperdal. All 120 stars are collected and purple coin challenges are history. Now to go apply a bottle of rogain.:P

Second : Not playing PES will increase SMG skills? That's quite awesome, I never play soccer games.

Not playing PES will reduce hair loss and money problems if you catch my drift.

Theres 121 stars in the game. Complete the game all over again with Luigi (Fight Bowser again with 120 stars in your account to unlock Luigi) and you unlock a new galaxy, have fun.

Thanks, I thought there was more to the game than that. Going through hell just to unlock Luigi was a pretty big disappointment especially when:

After you beat bowser once, Rosalina said that when a star/planet explodes it turns to stardust and creates new life, but the process is never quite the same. Then when we went back into the game to try to collect the rest of the stars Rosalina said I needed to collect a certain amount (The rest of them) to unlock a new world.

Needless to say when I went through hell to collect the last stars only to see we only unlocked Luigi we were quite disappointed since it's still the same game except you play as Luigi this time.

Is the new Galaxy/World worth unlocking? What is it like compared with the levels from the actual game?

Also any differences when playing the game as Luigi instead of Mario besides Luigi being more difficult to control?

A new green luma appears, select him to warp to a purple coin challenge that occurs during the game intro level. Beat that to get 121 stars and the mailtoad send you an email congratulating you to the wii message board.

Luigi jumps higher than mario, however he can't stop/turn around as quickly
