Ferrari f355, remove echelon intro.

Hi guys.
Do you know how to remove echelon intro from 1st_read.bin?
I just tried this method - no luck.

"6.3. Removing the Echelon intro
Credits to jc of dcwarez.

Some people may wish to remove the Echelon intro for one reason or another, a major one being that the intro sometimes screws up the sound/music initialization in their rip of Unreal Tournament (making it emit a nasty screeching sound until a game is started).
(Following example applies to DOA2LE. You can use a similar method for the other games, but the file size will be different.)
Extract the 1ST_READ.BIN file from the CDI or your CD.
Fire up your hex-editor (I like HEdit or Hex Workshop) and open 1ST_READ.BIN, go to offset 0xF0000 and copy the Hex all the way to 983040 (the end).
Make a new file 1929928 bytes large, and paste the contents of the clipboard into it.
Save the file, and place it into a directory (ie, C:\SELFBOOTDOA2LE), and extract the data from the CD or the CDI file into that directory as well. Now just follow ECHELON's self-boot tutorial and re-image the CD."

KanedA in defense of Dreamcast... is that because you played the PS2 port and started to value this version?

ah, good old battles

F355 on the PS2, only seen screens, never played, but as far as I can tell it looks like crap, and that's most likely just because it's a bad port.

And in most cases, unless the platform is a lot more powerful (and even then.. look at the pc) a game is usually the best on its "native" platform.

The PS2 is powerful enough to be better than a DC, but hardly powerful enough to run DC/Naomi ports better than the original. Perhaps the best port was DOA2, but as you know there is no clear outcome as to which version is better.

The Xbox, on the other hand, was probably powerful enough to run any DC game port as good as the original console. However, it had problems with ports of the more demanding PS2 games (resulting in a very poor MGS2 port, for example).

There we go again

Ok guys 8-)
Another question:
When nulldc loading f355, after dreamcast logo i get errors (not implemented opcode, press any key to continue), is there way to force autoskipping these errors?
