Bug in Digimon World Data Squad (U.S.)
On the Site PCSX2.net on site compatibility i can see Digimon Data Squad is playable, mean with vers. 0.9.4 you can play it through. My problem here is, the textur-clipping doens't function. if i turn the vector units off, so the textur-clipping is function. have used many different plugin-settings, but this is still a vector unit problem. At second, with the GSdx9-Plugin (MSVC 14.00, SSE2) 0.10.0 i can't see text anywhere. And third big problem, don't know why Digimon crashed often, only in the console i can see "vmhack". It comes when i have a third or 4. fight. in the fight then the vmhack. at the one time i can fight verses demidevimon, on other time there comes the vmhack. need help, please!!! You might need to use the TLB version, what's your system spec?

PC: Intel Core 2 Duo 4300 2x1800 MHz Leadteak NVidia 7600 GT (Single) P5N-E SLI - Mainboard 1024 DDRII-Ram 160 GB IDE-HDD WinXP Pro (Build 2600) There is the next Problem, with the TLB-version i have 7-8 FPS, but the VM-version has 30-50 fps |

Anyway, about your problem, if I remember correctly, ZeroGS has a settings for disabling the very things you deem problematic. And since GSDX doesn't have those settings, it won't be playable on GSDX. Lastly, using different BIOSes won't change or help in emulation in any way.

have tested it again. the problem with the endless fight is cleared. when i push action, the time needs a little bit longer, so 1-2 minutes, the game run after that. the other problem with the textur-clipping is still active. in the tlb-vers. i can't run out of some wands, but i can move still 2 dimensional (z+y-axis), but the x-axis don't has effect (axis for the high can't go up and down). so when a mountain is in front of me, the charakter goes not up, he run into the textur, also not on it. found a nice comment "this bug is due to the floating point differences between x86 CPUs and the VUs...... it is related to the MGS3 bug where snake might fall through the ground, or can get stuck in a tree due to bad collision checking. what i'm trying to say is....... it might take a LONG time before it gets solved...... it's actually a miracle katamari damacy goes this far in game while having few graphics problems." i think with digimon there is the same problem. |

on my ps2? i live in germany. first problem, i have an european bios, second problem, an american ps2 have other video format (NTSC, not PAL) and an other power (not 220 V). so i buyed this game over import.

Nollie I realise you are trying to help everybody you can with "digimon" woes, but can you stop being a necromancer? old threads have died cos either a) the user has given up b) they have the answer they want if someone still needs help they can make a new thread, please stop digging up old threads.
