New AdriPSX Release HERE

This is a beta release, without shell nor complete user interface; still needs some work... but it represents a lot of work put on the emu since last official release.

During emulation, you can use the following keys:

F1: SAVE GAME STATE
F3: LOAD GAME STATE
F9: SWITCH EMULATED CDROM CASE OPEN/CLOSE
ESCAPE: BACK TO CONTROL PANEL

This release is not backwards compatible with AdriPSX ILE Edition.

PS1 CDROM is autodetected, so you do not even need to configure CDROM.
Display is windowed only. Memory Cards are fully functional (HOT)
GPU/SPU/CPU have been completely remade.
All corrections produced for AdriPSX ILE 1.0.8 that was never released have been included.

Please send me any comments, flames and/or wishlists to be included for first official release to be coming soon.

Feel yourself free to use, host or redistribute.

Regards,

Roor,

kingprofit@hotmail.com
hsanmartin@dpisa.com.ar

The download link is: Here (*edited by Chrono for a better link *)

I'm not currently able to acccess AdriPSX site for update.
If anyone from NGEmu is able to help on this, please tell.

Ps: there are known issues to PAD setup on this release. I hope testers to be permisive on this one. Thanks a lot.

Had the first problem with configure the pad! O.o
If you press the first button (Tri) it wants to configure the 4th button (Squ), the 2nd will map the third, the third will map button number 1 and the 4th will map button number 2! *lolz*
Little bit confusing isn't it? There's a typo in the config, too, it should be "Cancel" not "cansel"... And dual shock is missing...
But it's amzing to see a PSX emu alive!
Will add more reports later, after game testing

I already know about that one. Haven't been fixed, as it belongs to the only part of AdriPSX that is still "plugin dependant" (as for this beta stage): the PAD.

This emulator has been deviced in order not to need any plugin, nor "excesive setup options"... just plain "plug&play". I'm still not sure, but I think that final release will be released as a "Windows Service", so you will only need to install it, and it will automatically recognise PS1 games once inserted in the PC...

Basically I need to measure compatibility on this one...

Thanks a lot anyway

Btw: if you will change the controller part, you probably still need a decent pic of a PSX controller!? Because I really dislike the pic atm!
I've "created" one, if you like it, I could create a bigger one, with dual shock for example!

This is a compatriot of my country. He Said:

"Guy, I am glad that you go forward on the scene. Congratulations!. I still remember that day when you saw the story in the newspaper "CLARIN". You and Linuzappz are the only I know in my country. "Congratulations".
