Some problems with a game.
Hey, peeps. I've been trying to figure it out before coming here last. I've been trying to get some good settings for Final Fantasy Tactics for the ePSXe emulator and I've gotten pretty darn close. I don't quite understand why it's doing this with just this one game. It's a good ISO, I made it myself in Alcohol 120% and I actually own the CD-ROM. I've played previous games such as RE2, RE3, and RE1. They all work perfectly, not a tiny bit of lag or sound problems or graphics problems, no lag, nadda, runs perfect like it was on an actual TV. But see, with Final Fantasy Tactics when I start up the game, the opening scene and such works fine, runs smoothly with maybe a little bit of lag. But when it comes to storyline, there's no lag in the gameplay but with the text it lags a little bit with the text but the movement and graphics isn't really my main problem, the thing that jsut really irritates me to a point where the game is damn enar unplayable because it's so horrible is my sound. When the text comes up it sounds weird, when someone dies it sounds like a dying giraffe and lasts like 5 seconds and every hit makes this funky sound, the worst of it yet is when I go into a shop on the world map and it makes this loud super annoying ROAR like Satan himself is screaming out of my speakers and stops when I leave. Oh, and one small graphics problem is when I am on the world map it's pitch black and the only thing I can see is me and the dots of the locations I've been or have to go. And when I engage into a battle it just seems to lag, stop and 30 seconds later I finally get to choose who I send into the battle and then some more lag. So, yeah. Annoying, unplayable. My current settings for the ePSXe that I've used to get perfect results for my resident evil games are... For my video plug-in I use Pete's D3D Driver 1.76, for my sound driver I'm using Pete's DSound Audio Driver 1.15, and for my CDROM driver I'm using, Mooby2 cd disk image driver 2.8. I'm playing tactics on an ISO, not the actual CDROM. So, I guess my question is. Could I get some suggestions of any other plugins I could use to fix these problems?
