How to get CPU specs

You should not ask this kind of question because its off-topic!.But I will tell you anyway.

First go to Start menu, than go to Run,then type "dxdiag.exe" and click OK.Then you will get a full information about your PC.

Hehe yelling at others while doing the same thing, huh?

Also CPU-z shows all the info about CPU, much more than dxdiag

No no, you told us your 2 main components, CPU and GPU.

Now the bad news.

They're both pretty aged and in the "very weak" categories in terms of PCSX2. You'll have horrid frame rates in every game, includnig simple 2d ones I suspect. It's better to just stick with your PS2 buddy, you'll be sorely dissapointed with the emulator with your current computer.

If you have a P4 from a vendor, then you probably have below a intel-965 chipset. In other words you will need to upgrade

cpu, gpu, motherboard and ram (you wont find mny intel mobo's that accept a core 2 and old school DDR ram.)

Essentially, your better off just buying a whole new PC if your bent on playing with the emulator. Unless yoru a PC-enthusiast (which your not, cause otherwise you have stuff that isnt 3 generations old) you might as well jsut stick to yoru PS2. If you dont have one and your wanting to use illegaly, you might as well jsut buy a PS2. If you want this in the interest of playing yoru own backed up games, jsut mod yoru PS2. Its more than likely that its WAY beyond its warrenty time anyway.
