Kingdom Hearts settings
Right, I've been trying to get Kingdom Hearts to work on my computer, and there are just a couple of little niggles that I'm wondering if they can be solved. I've got it running at 50-55fps by using the 'limit' option with the frame limiter, which is almost perfect, though it is still noticibally faster in the FMV, 10 seconds faster over the 2 and a half minute FMV (Yes, I did time it ).But whats slightly more annoying is the sound. While everything seems ot play, in the background it sounds like there is a bit of static, or something. It isn't quite clean. I've downloaded the ps2sp plugin, as well as the libraries, and copied them all to the plugin directory. However, it doesn't appear in the plugin select place. Do I have to do something else to be able ot use it? Also, is this just a general problem, or do other people have this? I have tried making my game into an mdf file, thinking that it was just because it was reading from the DVD, but the problem is still there. I was suprised to note, though, that KH uses way less of my CPU than Frequency, the other game I play at the moment. Frequency has my cpu (E6600 overcloced to 2.5) at 100% all the time, while KH barely hits 60%. Is this just because its a more graphically intense game than Frequency? |

On your note about barely hitting 60% on processor usage, this either means you didn't set the dual core options to on. Or the second one in which, your video card is too slow so that your processor is waiting for your video card to finish.
