Weird Sound Problems in Syphon Filter
I have ePSXe working pretty perfectly with GT2, everthing seems to work great. However, with Syphon Filter, I have this weird problem (besides the MDECS being slow) of the game "catching" quite often, and it just sits there, looping sounds, and then it wakes up or something and works. Is this a problem with my sound setup. I'm using Pete's OpenGL, ePSXe internal sound SPU and CD-R

My copy does the same. I think that it has somrthing to do with the internal cdr plugin, 'cos every time it happens some debug info flashes on the info screen. However as I have win 2k and no aspi layer I have to use the interal w2k plugin so I just live with it. In your case you could try one of the other cdr plugins

I have win2k.. and btw you can use ASPI just fine with Win2k In fact, on www.psxemu.com there is a forceASPI tool that will install an ASPI layer on your win2k box. Good Luck
