a small suggestion..about pcsx2 requirments

i finally had some free time and would like to note that this emulator PCSX2 loves fast harddrives i noticed an 8fps increase on disgaea while playing it on my system.

i now get 61fps with my pc compared before i was getting 52fps tops..

the reason was because the HDD was slowing me down.

i think it should be added in the min req's should be a 7200rpm hdd and the required be atleast a sata 150 10krpm hdd. for optimal performance.

just my 2 cents.

There's a very good chance the speedup is from the fresh install not the new HDD. Windows has a bad habit of slowing down over time, largely due to fragmentation but also from things like registry bloat.

FWIW, I usually reinstall Windows every 2 or 3 years just to clean it out.

The increase is most likely due because of the fresh OS install. Did I notice a difference in performance between 7200RPM SATAII and 10,000RPM SATAII drive? No, not at all. You probably don't have as much junk running in the background now, freeing a bit of extra processing power from your CPU.
