Monitor flickering

I've got my PC connected to the Samsung SyncMaster 940MW monitor (via VGA cable) and it flickers. Same thing was happening when I had my PS3 connected to it via a component cable, but ceased after connecting it via HDMI->DVI cable. Such thing never occurs when I connect my laptop to this monitor with the very same VGA cable. I tried various resolutions and color modes, but it hasn't solved the problem. The graphic card is some crappy Intel 82845G chip, but it worked fine on Philips CRT monitor.

First off, try a different VGA cable. I've had quite a few that has worn out in less than a year. Also, make sure that ure refresh rate that u're using supports the monitor. If all else fails, than ure best hope is to send it for warranty.
