Oh i've just seen that you downloaded the game :/
Well, just for the record, you're not even allowed to download a game you actually own.
Anways, you mentioned that your speakers are alright, how did you test them? Can you play normal music on them? Do you have any other game to test with epsxe?

sorry had to go a few mins

my speakers are fine all other sounds play

i have not tested it with any other game

you see the thing is the sound was working perfectly last night
i had all sound affects, game music, voices

it ran like a dream. i turned my comp off and went to bed (didnt alter any configs) and when i tried to play again this morning no sound(only in the emulator, windows msn etc sounds were working)

well maybe somehow your configs got messed up and didn't save correctly. I think we both know that this makes no sense otherwise

Well you could try SSSPSX instead of Epsxe, the plugin can be configured the same way as in Epsxe. Other than that if you're desperate about playing mgs you can simply use pSX 1.11 though it has no enhancement. Other than that i'm not quite sure what is causing your problem.

ok i thankyou for your help

im going to try deleting everything plugins, espxe etc

and start again hopefully it will work

if not i will just have to keep searching for the game lol

no shop has it where i live and they wont order it, ive bought online 4 times and the discs wouldnt work lol so i refuse to buy it that way again :P

once again thankyou for your time

oh one last thing it is illegal to have the iso?

i was told by many people as long as you have the actualy game in your possession it is ok
if so imma just delete it and forget the whole idea lol

Well this depends mostly on the lawsuit in your country, seeing you're from america it's likely you're not allowed to keep a backup of your games. The important thing about it is though that you gotta make the image/iso yourself. Downloading a game is illegal even if you own the game.
