Test Drive Unlimited 2 will feature licensed vehicles from the most famous Italian car company’s like: Ferrari, Maserati, Bugatti, Pagani, Saleen, McLaren and many more. The sequel will also introduce off-road cars (two and four wheels), SUVs, 4WD, enduro bikes and buggies (Lamborghini LM005, Mercedes GL, Audi Q7, Hummer, Range Rover, VW Touareg and many more). Players will be able to drive in a 1500 km2 area with streets, highways, off-road tracks. There will be over 2400 km different roads (mud, sand, rock and asphalt), dynamic weather (rain, fog and storms), night and day cycles, and several online modes.

If this is true, it pisses me off a bit. The original TDU isn't even finished yet with savegames getting corrupted en masse and €250,- steering wheels giving a 30fps framedrop penalty. Personally I'd rather see the original stay alive a bit longer as well.

not really surprising, though, if a bit fast.

Speaking of which, has it arrived yet? I tried looking for you ingame earlier tonight, not that the system allows for effective searching though

Bought a nice Dodge Viper tonight, great sound, not so good handling though.

no, it's not here yet. And thanks to RSI, I don't think I'll be playing for a few weeks anyway (aside from being too busy right now).... I'm just glad I can still type.

Well, this really brings down my enthusiasm for the first game a little bit...seems like they're adding a lot of worthwhile features, though.

True, if I were you Hushy, I'd wait for a somewhat more reputable source to confirm the news. Otherwise, if the game costs only 30 bucks and you can have almost a year of racing fun out of it, I don't think it would be worth waiting for TDU2.

Eh, more like $40 but unfortunately for TDU...there are a ton of other things that are a higher priority right now.
