Svn Rev 181 - Linux

I just tried out the latest SVN revision, and it seems significantly faster. Previously KH seemed to slow down to a crawl in some sections, and now it usually keeps above 30-40 fps. I still can't get the game going because of lack of support for analog sticks but it's starting to look good.

I do however have some complaints. If I run sh build.sh clean, in the main directory, it does not clean all object files. I have to cd into the pcsx2 directory, and run it again. This can cause compilation problems if you don't know about it. I was wondering if a dev could set me straight on why neither multi threaded nor dual core mode seem to work on AMD cpus on linux. Multi threading "seems" like it should work no problems since I know other applications on my ubuntu are multi threaded. Any hints/tips where I should poke in the source code?

gs.cpp

i have hand coded some assembly atomic operations in misc.h/misc.c which might be the cause of various bugs. mtgs works perfectly for me though...

What's your kernel version and libraries installed?

I just discovered that my kernel is a 386! I think that solves why I can't get dual core mode to work .. but why doesn't multi-threading? Does 0.9.3 require the 64 bit version only?

I have an AMD 4600X 2 dual core. M2N32SLI m/b, 2 gigs of ram.

On my system it is definately using both cores, 100% usage on each, although it appears as a single thread in top for some reason.
