Hardware is anything you can actually touch with your hands. Software is data on a computer (Everything that cannot be touched).

yeah hardware is your computer and the components of the computer including monitor, speaker, printer, mouse, motherboard, hard drive, processor, memory, video card, sound card... etc. etc.

Generally, software is a program on a computer. Data is not really necessarily considered software (when I think of software, I think of for example Microsoft Office, but I don't really consider a document I have made as software in the defined sense of the word)

Software would be like, oh I dunno.. google.com. You can use google.com to look up anything, including the definitions of words like "software" and "hardware".

that's actually a html-document Subzero. Documents are not under the definition of software. Your webrowser is the software

computer program as... as in, a program in shape of a script.
You might say a search function like google is a form of software i guess, my bad, but not in quite the same sense.
