what plugin did you use for ace combat 3? Pete's d3d? If I look behind the plane in that game, I get these tiny black squares (but thats with petes ogl). It's not very annoying though...
oh, i forgot to tell you, you can get the drawing in the distance in that game better if you set off screen drawing to 2....(when using a "pete-plugin")

i make it this way:

launch the bios
savestate the bios
check the number on the bios savesate
rename the savastate i want to the same name as the bios one
launcht the bios
load the savestate

there is prolly a LOT simpler way to do this, but i dont know it

That's about it. I do something like that, but instead of using the bios number, I use another game's number(from a game that I actually have), then I load the game, and load the save state.
