is it really this difficult to get people who dont play games to understand our community?
they make this rating system out to be like it should be a quiz on an SAT test or something.

These people are from an age long since passed and they are somewhat out of touch with the current generation, after all you have them calling the internet "a series of tubes" and using the "tubes" analogy in decision making so stuff like this doesn't surprise me.

But, non-gamers will not understand as well.....and due to that lack of understanding, they believe that their viewpoint is better, under the guise of 'I know what's better for you...'

Take grass for example. Your parents may not have tried it, and the moment they find out you are using it, they flip sheit! And due to the lack of understanding, and the constant hype of 'have any...AND YOU WILL BURN!!' attitude really kills the buzz....

On a serious note, though, you cannot judge anything to begin with; aside from that, it makes no sense to judge something....YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW!
