fps problem...

Suikoden and Final Fantasy X-2 fps problem...

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

when i'm running "suikoden 3" it drops around 14-22fps and around 28fps for "ffx-2" in-game even though my processor is intel e6300. do you know why? i activated the dual core and mtgs already. how do you increase the fps without turning on "frame skipping" or without upgrading my system except for the RAM or hard drive?

intel core 2 duo e6300 1.86Ghz
sapphire radeon 512mb x1600 AGP Pro
768mb RAM (single channel)
80GB Ultra ATA
asrock 775Dual-VSTA (mobo)
graphic plugin: ZeroGS Kosmos 0.96.0

to get more speed u can overclock ur CPU.

but i think u've DDR1 RAM and ur mobo is not an overclocking board... so i think ur chances r bad.

Well, with using my DDR1 RAM in combination with my E6300 on the same board, I can achieve an overclock of 2.10 Ghz (1.86 Ghz is stock), however, any higher and it won't POST. Best bet is to set the RAM on a 2:1 divider (run it in DDR 200 speeds) and then up the CPU bus to 300.

Suikoden 3 is always slow, can't get it good either.
FFX-2 is insanely slow during the opening movie, should be a bit faster after
