FFX Disc Read Errors

I have PCSX2 0.9, and was trying to load FFX, but it tells me that it can't read the disc. I can get onto the PS2 BIOS (though it's really slow; 20 fps), but when I try to load the disc, it gives me the error.

Any suggestions about what could be the matter?

Have you read the config guide, are you using the right cdvd plugin for what you want.

I thought I had....but obviously not enough. Yeah, I changed a few settings and was able to boot from CD. Well then, thanks.
