DirectSoundCreate!

when i try to run FFX i get the error: DirectSoundCreate and i must exit Pcsx2..how do I fix this? FFX is the only game I have so I cant test any other games..

Try installing a newer redist package of DirectX, here's the one I've been using for a long time now and know works good with PCSX2 Download details: DirectX Redist June 2006

I tried to install the DirectX Redist you linked but it still won't work=( any more suggestions?

Do You have SoundCard / drivers installed ?

yes I have.. i have the soundcard on my mainboard...(or how it is spelled)

Maybe I've used configured Pcsx2 wrong..any ideas there?

run dxdiag->(tab) Sound->(button) Test DirectX interface
(or something like that translation from my lang)
what does this say ?

I'm not sure what you mean..but i tried Test DirectSound..and i got this message: DirectSound test results: Failure at step 3 (DirectSoundCreate): HRESULT = 0x88780078 (No driver)...how can I fix this? I'm pretty sure that this is the reason for the error i get in Pcsx2..

Download and re/install driver for Your soundcard.
