Finished Real Drive:

Cool anime a bit strange regarding the romance (well unexpected) but not something i had a problem with, it was good, the main problem is that this would have been perfect as a 12 episode anime, they could have easily condensed the first 20 eps in 6 (also by eliminating a lot of useless things) and then continue with the 6 ending episodes which where great.

Next up giving another shot at Toradora:

Hey, I'm also rewatching ToraDora!

Other than that, I started rewatching Mayo Chiki with the blu ray versions.

First i was like: "Why would you want to rewatch Mayo Chiki on blu-ray so fast? Its not like the show seemed censored..." But then i noticed why while i was on sankaku .

I-I... I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about!

But in reality, after seeing that in Sankaku, I just realised I didn't really remember much about Mayo Chiki... I mean how could I forget that that happened in it!?!

Spoiler:
Although it was just a fantasy or a dream if I remember it right...

So I decided to rewatch it...

Best. Episode. Ever.

Seriously... I never thought toothbrushing would look sexy. And that ending, you can understand that in so many ways... so many ways...

Although i was planning on rewatching Toradora that will have to be put on hold atm since Rosario to Vampire caught my attention when i was just trying to get some material for my avatar/sig . Ended up rewatching the first two episodes twice, i have to say the beginning raises all kinds of questions which don't get addressed later on, but still i love this show so much:

You're not gonna like me saying this but... Isn't that because it deviated from the manga?

I haven't read the manga so I can't say for sure, but that might be the cause. And while I don't adore it as much as you do, I'd like it to have a third season.

Well Rosario to Vampire was the only manga i could ever get a little farther into (i'm going to try again though one of this days) and the manga is interesting (i want to read it mainly cause i suspect there's something behind Tsukune) and good, but unlike a lot of people i don't think its better then the anime, don't get me wrong i'm not necesarly saying that the anime is better either, i'm just saying that they are each great in there own way, there focuses are different. As for the third season i'd love to have it and if the company that made it wasn't having financial problems probably we would have also had it...

I just meant that maybe the reason for you feeling like there are questions left unanswered from the beginning of the anime are because the anime deviated from the manga storyline later on.
I never implied anything about either one being better.

But maybe I should try reading the manga, as I also felt like something was amiss in the anime... Although, for some reason I feel like watching the anime again too. Hmm, did I have the uncensored versions somewhere...

Watching the blu-ray version myself ^^, as for the manga part i know that you didn't compare it to the manga :P, i just felt like adding that, but i do agree with you that it must be because of the deviations, since right the first couple of episodes it stayed similar to the manga.

Wakfu second season is finally over... Not nearly as epic as the first but it did have some nice development in it. Now I'm just hoping it gets a third season...

Hey I didn't know Netflix had so much anime, not really a lot but there are a lot of shows I haven't watched before.

Watching Basilisk right now, might watch Trigun, Seven Samurai, Samurai Champloo or any other after.

Btw @Strike I knew I've seen your ava before that's Moka from Rosario + Vampire. I watched a couple of eps the other day. Not a real original show, kinda generic. At least it starts like that.

Well i do admit that some of the events and elements do have a generic pattern to them but i gotta wonder just how many shows are out there have a normal, average person end up in a school full of and for monsters. I mean sure there have been shows before where the protagonist ends up in an unusual school before, but where talking about something different here, he is literally considered food or somethin perishable to some extent or other to every person there (well actually except for 6 individuals). Some elements are generic just for the parody of it. Tsukune himself is an interesting character, at first he looks quite generic himself they making him as average as possible to relate on as many as possible, though despite that despite every cell in his body telling him to run away he stays there, sometimes even more, even he isn't the usual pattern for this type of shows. Moka is another interesting element which although has a few of the cliche paterns tyo her she has just as many new elements to boot it of. What i'm saying is the show is more of like a perfect blend between generic and originality, rather than contrasting each other they blend them together, though i admit its not for anyone, or it does not appeal to anyone.

Generic indeed, yet still somewhat entertaining...or at least it would be if the ending were any good. All those shows you mentioned are infinitely better.

I'm not talking story wise, I'm talking pure production quality and class.

Schumi somehow i really doubt that story is the main reason why someone wouldn't compare a strategy game to a FPS, the main reason is gameplay focus and content, that translates in our discussion the same, its settings theme, content and focus. They have different aims, the comparison really feels out of place, i have no doubt you like those shows more don't get me wrong but its just as with liking a genre more over another. Also production quality wise i say Rosario did fair well, a lot better then many in its class.

I myself can never get into comedy animes, that is what I watch British and American dramas for(the actual comedic ones of course).
