Railgun 24: Congratulations for managing to ride up such a magnificent hype. Here I thought I would be vindicated by persevering through all those ho-hum episodes with an awesome finale... turns out it would be an exercise in cliché-writing 101. Even includes loose thread for potential sequelz. Now that I've reached the end, I have to say nothankyou.jpg to watching Index. Oh well, so much for relenting to To aru fans who recommended it. -_-

Well, Index is superior imo, and Railgun would have been good if only they stopped at 12-13 episodes... meh milking suck.

Railgun is pretty good in my opinion, specially that second half where they actually stopped to watch and develop its secondary characters. Railgun after all is a series that cares more about exploiting the To Aru universe, while Index is the one that expands it. I think they serve as a good complement to each other.

Where does the Railgun come from in that anime name btw? is it totally random or is there actually a BFG somewhere in the show? I just ask cuz the name and any pics of it I see keep on reminding me of She - The Ultimate Weapon.

The titular chapter of To Aru Kagaku no Railgun (A certain scientifical railgun) does have a Railgun as her signature move. The same character is also a secondary character in its sister series, A certain magical index. This is actually one of the most interesting universes I've seen, depicting ESP and 'science' based powers coexisting (and warring) with magic and holy based powers.

After watching Transformers - Revenge of the Fallen I had to watch more Transformers but unfortunately all I have in that regard are my self-recorded eps of Transformers Cybertron (and Transformers Animated but that's an even bigger farce and just ran on TV anyways) a collaboration between the US and the Japs who originally created Transformers. Unfortunately though it would seem the japs only involvement in the show was as drawing/animation slaves cuz the actual story makes swiss cheese look entirely holeless. Lots of plot holes, no balance (one bot gets barely grazed by a bullet and is tottaled the next time the same bot gets hit by a super-blast and just laughs it off), majorly overdone drama (which leads to terrible dialogue) but the show itself mostly looks good as an anime hybrid with CG bots in it.
So yeah that anime hybrid is what I am currently watching...still not sure whether I should actually listen to it or not though.

Also Dragonball is starting up on TV again, not sure yet whether it's gonna be a re-run or a continuation from where they left off just after Penguin Island but I'm gonna be watching it.

^There where only three good things in Transformers Cybertron: Optimus Looked cool (well the CG was nice to :P), the transformation sequences and the intro song (though i could do without the stupid voice that keeps talking in it), the rest was fail.

Kobato 23:Oh noes...
Spoiler:
Hat removed. Kobato died.

Not that we didn't guess that when the premise was laid out in the early episodes. One more eps to go.

Sora no Woto 12: All that talk about sacrifice and other cool stuff earlier on? Totally does not happen! Everything is resolved through the power of rock & roll- I mean, Amazing Grace. What about Rio's self-sacrifice you ask? It got negated by the ending. Could've been brilliant, turned out rather mediocre because it didn't have the balls.
