well wikipedia describes it in the harem genre.
Then wikipedia is nuts. Ok, it has 4 female students and one male students in a room (95% of the series takes place in one room btw, personally I find this to be one of the selling factors ), but the harem similarities ends there. Aw well, whatever...

Let's ask an independent source then. Nanaya, Yelo, is Seitokai no Ichizon a harem series?

well i don't feel like watching it at the moment because of the setting/theme.
atm not really interested in watching a police oriented anime.

Ah,
anyways I finnished 07 Ghost...what a let down... to be continued ....but seeing as it deviated heavily from the manga the chances that it will be followed by a second season are not great...not to mention it feels like 95% of the story was already covered so a second season will be filled with say 95% random made up baloney at least unless they manage to successfully incorporate new manga chapters....

Anyways if this trend of anime which does not stay true to the manga and then ends in an open season 2 begging ending (Studio Deen especially seem to be bad at that considering the ending for Getbackers is similar) continues then I am going to have to drop anime completely and just focus on Manga....anyways Witchblade is next up...hopefully it can be better...

Any recommendation I had made 07 Ghost is hereby revoked unless a second season that's equally as pleasing as the first and that actually ends the story propperly appears.

no since most of the girls don't think of him as much, he will probably end up with one of them not all of them

Nah, the poor guy seem to be there to be abused (mentally mostly ) and provide balance to otherwise girls-only moe factor anime (K-On...) but I like where they have serious side too. My favorite this season for everyday life anime

Finished Guin Saga overall good anime and different from the usual art trend story and behavior, though caution its open ended.

next up Hayate no Gotoku S2.

It still cracks me up when i see this parody of dragonball z/knight rider/initial D

Notice how the anime gets more mature as it goes along .

After baring with 20 or so jokey episodes, the anime took a turn for the awesome.

meh, still looks pretty dumb in the later opening videos.
a bit more mature yes, but not good enough as a whole for me personally to watch.
___________

anyways i mentioned a while ago i was looking for comedy anime.

I had forgotten that along time ago i started Gintama and quit watching at episode 45 cuz thats when i caught up to the weekly updates.
right now they're on episode 130+ or something, so i've started watching it again.

The anime is a comedy anime with some action thrown in.
Its not the funniest show, but its relatively entertaining.

the more you're familiar with Japanese culture/history and anime series, the more jokes you will get from the series.
if i understood more of the jokes, then it would be more entertaining; instead i have to resort to the fansubbers notes explaining a lot of the jokes.

You just called hitman reborn dumb and admitted that you find Gintama entertaining?

Thank you for the lulz.

more like i find hitman reborn geared towards 10 year olds.
typical shonen with unoriginal powers and nothing to separate it from other much-better shonen series.

at least that's my impression of it from those opening videos in your post.

Than I must point out that your insight is not very good.

Each to his own though.

I have'nt watched the series, but my sister says it's one of those seres that you have to crawl and stomach the first 20 episodes and after that it gets real good.

I feel the same way :/. The first 20 or so episodes are like slice of life gone horribly wrong. Its another series where the anime started before the manga could pace itself so the story is slow paced like bleach and naruto.

hayate no Gotoku S2 was kind of disappointing compared to S1, but meah it wasn't bad either. And now i have a new anime joining my favorites: Tayutama loved it but at the genre they got it so wrong its not harem its a love triangle and that's it also i think Mashiro is my new favorite anime character :

Currently watching what I suppose could be best described as a more mature (not not in a hentai/ecchi sort of way strike) Pokemon/Digimon , Dragon Drive is a show I saw a couple of episodes of back when I was 16 and have been after ever since. Unfortunately though now that I am a fair bit older approaching 22 and have seen more anime it's lost a fair bit of appeal but the designs of the Dragons are still kickass and though it's obviously a kiddy show I still find it somewhat enjoyable. Currently on ep 9.

I am watching it interchangeably with oldschool Record of Lodoss War which unfortunately feels very dated and it does not help that I have only the dub and did not see the earlier OVA series. It's still acceptable but it's pace and story just feels really generic and slow compared to newer much faster shows like Slayers or Ragnarok - The Animation.
