Ghost hunt is a good anime,
I recomend it to anyopne who likes mystery/thrillers.

I find the lead male character annoyingly cool at times though....

@fusioneko:

1. Don't just assume everyone else is in your same brain wavelength. It took me 3 reads to decipher what you were talking about

2. I'm pretty sure in the anime it is 60 seconds as well, it's just that they don't bother to count everytime up to 60.

3. Even if it's not the case, what's your problem with making a slight change to an invented rule that is not crucial to the plot anyway

If you liked Death Note, you should watch series by Naoki Urasawa like Monster., or if you prefer Manga series, 20th Century Boys and Pluto are really thrilling series. Really, I'm waiting for the day the animation for those will be announced. They are that good

Ah yes, 20th Century Boys is amazing! So captivating and it's very realistic...really puts your mind at work thinking about human behaviour. I've only read the first volume of Pluto, but it still lives up to Naokis name. It's been great so far.

Well, the manga was really good alright, but the anime isn't far behind (can't even tell which is better... I like the anime more... I like to see moving things), fusioneko, your argument is quite low for someone who liked the manga so much, but that proves that there ain't no crucial failure in the anime.

As said before,Gundam Seed is an awesome anime, plot, music, action you name it.
Also recommend Elfen Lied,Hellsing,One Piece (although it's getting worse since the Arabasta arc) and Basilisk (best artwork i've seen on anime)

Eheh, of course xD You'll certainly be convinced about the manga's amazingness if you find that the whole Death Note's fame started there.

I guess I'll check Gundam Seed later. I don't know why but Basilisk didn't get me, I stopped watching it in the 2nd episode... But your other recommendations partially fit well my taste too

Gundam Seed was good, it really pulled you into the whole series. Everything about it was great, I especially like the music...great music in that series. Destiny was good too, but the first arc is still better .

As I've repeated multiple times in this thead, for the ones who liked Gundam Seed do yourself a favor and go watch Code Geass. At the start it may seem like a copy paste but it does shine on its own.

I have Code Geass, but I haven't really had the time to watch it (I like to watch stuff right from beginning to end straight through ). I did watch Fafner in the Azure though, and it just sang of Gundam Seed and Raxephon wannabe. Me and a friend had a hard time trying to sit through all of it .

Anybody ever watch Noein? I watched the first episode, and it got me. Though the art was a little funky. Then I watched the second episode. The art looks like it was done by a completely different studio! It's like they were lazy on the first episode or something .

Nah it's just that some episodes like the second where directed by a different person. The art will remain more or less consistant for the rest of the series, but the strong point of it is the story in my opinion. I hope you won't be disappointed

Indeed, the damned thing is just too good. Though we should remember that this project is more of a relax for the people at KyoAni in preparation for Clannad and SuzuHaru 2 so we should cut them some slack.
