i have seen so many pics of RE4 with high fps rates on worse pc's

Have you enabled MTGS and DC modes in the CPU config?

Yes, everything is turned on and i used both plugins with sse support
pixel shader 3.0 is enabled and aa and biliniary filtaring is turned off.
So i think i used the "best" settings to geht the most frames.
thx btw. for the reply

Hmm, well RE4 is known to be one of the slowest games around, but I would expect better than 3-6fps...

Have you applied the MS hotfix for dual-core AMD CPUs? Search this forum and Google for it, if you haven't already applied it. There have been several threads about dual-core AMDs not performing well without it.

Personally I'm figuring about that GFX card. I didn't even know if Nvidia 7500 cards existed so I googled around and I found a few results and it seems there's a 7500GT and LE version out there only being sold in complete computer setups. I'm questionizing the performance of these cards tho, at least the LE version would probably be very weak which is always the "budget"/weak model in the series. GFX cards are very important for this game, 7600GT cards doesn't seem to provide more than about 15~20 FPS in this game for example whatever your CPU is. But I still don't think that 7500 card is thaaat much weaker though.

Check the screenshots thread and see what kinds of systems other people have used and what fps they managed to get. It should help you figure out if it is worth the effort.
