2. Im using a family friends computer right now since I left college for xmass. My computer is up at college and I want to know what kinda FPS I will be getting on it. (on this comp I am getting about 10fps : ( )

SPECS

VC - 2 GeForce 7800 GS (SLI)
Proc - Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor 2.14ghz

yes my computer cost me ALOT of money but worth it

it cost but which game u try?
then what setting u use?
finally please don't expect full speed cos the emulator still in beta!!!!!!!!!!!!

I could care less what my FPS is right now, like I said. I am on a run down computer at a family friends house since Im "home" for christmass...

Im asking how fast you think I can get things running with the specs I posted?

I think it would run nicely if you just overclock your cpu more.

u can get as fps that i gain, so first make the iso of ur game with ultraiso .
then choose the cdvd plugin for iso.
enable all dc and mtgc for cpu in cpu setting.
select zerogs and just enable aa for 2x.
run cd and enjoy.
the game i try:
1-resident evil 4
2-resident evil outbreak
3-resident evil code ver....
4- metal slug 4
5-metal slug 5
6-ffx 10
7-ffx 12
i have dif.... fps in these games but all playable u can check the pcsx2 site for more info.

You won't usually get a good response asking this kind of question because no one really knows. Each game behaves differently, some will play near full speed on your rig, others won't.

The best place to find out this kind of info is the Screenshots sticky at the top of the forum. When people try games they post their specs and pics in that thread, so you can get alot of info from it.

All depends on the game, but you'll definitely get good speeds with it. The actually finishable games (KH, FFX) should run full speed on it.
